• Roast Paan is bread but baked in the shape of thick slices. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside;
• Mutton Kalu Pol is mutton cooked in lots of spices and roasted coconut resulting in a black gravy rich in spices.
• Roast Paan and Dhal Curry will never get boring. Dhal cooked in coconut milk to the right consistency will always have the hearts of Sri Lankans;
• Coconut sambol is made of scraped coconut mixed with chili, red onion and lime to give it a bright orange colour;
• Sago: Made with sago boiled in coconut milk and jaggery with added flavours, it is a dessert served at cultural festivals. Sago pudding can be had as dessert after a meal or as a comfort food.;
• Watalappam is the way to any Sri Lankan’s heart. It is a custard made of coconut milk, jaggery and added spices which make up this delicious dessert.;
• The Cream Caramel pudding is topped with a layer of caramel sauce. Simple but never out of fashion.;
• CBP: Layers of biscuit, and layers of chocolate custard covered in cashews. Not something that you can say no to.
